September Clinician Spotlight: Ezra Frazier, Clinical Therapy Intern (he/they)

Introducing, Ezra!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hi! I’m Ezra - Are you exploring your identity in a world that doesn’t always feel safe or supportive? Are you neurodivergent and tired of being misunderstood? Does home feel more like a battleground than a place of peace? I who work with youth and young adults exploring identity, navigating complex family dynamics, and learning to manage stress in healthy, sustainable ways. My clinical interests include internal family systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, and gender-affirming therapy. My therapeutic style is rooted in authentic connection, blending warmth and humor with accountability, to support clients in both feeling safe and being challenged toward growth.

When did you first know that you wanted to pursue this career path/how have your interests and passions developed over time?

As an LGBTQ person, my experiences with identity formation and living authentically in a world that is not always friendly, has led me on the path to aid others in that journey of self discovery. Over time and professional experience, I have gained a real passion for helping youth and young adults in their formative years.

Do you have any creative outlets or interests? Tell us about them!

I am big into sports, and I have been playing sports since I was 7 and have not stopped since. My family plays fantasy football every year for the last 11 years and I have won 4 of them. My favorites are flag football, basketball, and volleyball. Currently, I play flag football at the semi-professional level for two different formats and love any opportunity to compete.

Which of GWB’s values do you feel connected to? Why?

While I agree with all of the values GWB stands for, the values of community and compassion are my favorites. There are not many spaces as unique and affirming as this one.

What is your go-to coffee or tea order?

As someone who does not really drink tea or coffee, I honestly prefer a cold can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
