Grounded Wellbeing Interns
Working with interns allows us to honor our values of community, integrity, and reclaiming.
Students of therapy are required to practice counseling under the supervision of a licensed provider in order to graduate. Providing space for interns at Grounded Wellbeing allows us to not only support future therapists but also offer our community an affordable option to begin the healing process.
Our interns are passionate and dedicated to the art of therapy, and they are committed to our mission, vision, purpose to create a safe and affirming space for healing.

AVAILABLILITY & ATTENTION
Due to having smaller caseloads, interns are able to provide their clients with more availability. Additionally, interns must work under the supervision of a licensed clinical therapist who will examine your case alongside them. You will have access to combined insight and perspective.
AFFORDABLE
The rate for interns at Grounded Wellbeing is $75 per session and is not billable to insurance. Our clinical interns offer a sliding scale of $35-$75 to increase accessibility and affordability when needed.
CURRENT RESEARCH
As active students, your Intern Therapists will have access to some of the most up-to-date research and resources. After all, academic settings are where most studies are carried out.
